Social Media Do’s for Real Estate Agents

1. Show up and post consistently
It’s so important that you show up and post consistently. Consistency builds trust. Add social media time to your schedule and time block to make it a habit and a repeatable routine!

2. Create and post video content
Here is the good news – you don’t always have to be in the video, but creating video content is going to be key for you in 2022 to build the know, like and trust factor and turn likes into leads. What are the questions you get asked all the time? Build a library of content answering those common questions!

3. Take risks and try something new
You don’t have to be everywhere, but take a risk – try something new. Showcase your behind the scenes. Be vulnerable. Is there a lesson you can share? How about self-deprecating humor? Be you.

1. Outsource
Social media is like the ultimate dinner party – you wouldn’t hand off hosting duties to your assistant, so make sure you don’t hand off your voice on social media to someone else either!

2. Set it and forget it
There is nothing wrong with scheduling or thinking ahead – but you want to make sure you always go back and respond to comments and questions. You don’t have to post every day, but it’s more about being consistent. And remember, quality versus quantity is key.

3. Just post listings
This is nothing wrong with posting listings – but keep in mind that this is just one piece of social media. Have a well-rounded schedule including informative posts, educational content, inspirational posts and more!
