I truly believe in the power of having an attitude of gratitude. I think as we go about our lives personally and professionally, it’s easy to get frustrated with things. It’s easy to look at our social media feeds and get annoyed or jealous. But what I have found that really helps in those moments of frustration is being grateful for what you do have versus what you don’t have. And so I feel very, very grateful and in no particular order this podcast episode is a little bit of a love letter to the things and the people I’m most grateful for.
So first off, I am so grateful for my family. I have an amazing husband, Paul, who is my partner in life and partner in business. I could not do what I do without him by my side. I’m also so thankful for our boys. They definitely keep me young at heart. I’m also so thankful for my parents, an amazing brother and sister in law, countless aunts and uncles and cousins who are just so supportive.
I’m also so grateful on a professional level for the colleagues in my industry. I’m so grateful for this industry that has allowed me so many amazing opportunities. The opportunities to work with the people I want to work with, the opportunities to get on stages and to teach and to help people.
I’m so grateful for the clients who have trusted us, the clients who have reached out and who’ve invested, not just money, but time in working with me, whether it’s on a consulting basis, whether it’s hiring me as a speaker. So grateful for that.
I’m so grateful for our community. It’s amazing how many of you have met me for the first time here on this podcast and I’m so grateful for that. But maybe you’re someone who’s known me for a long time. Maybe you’ve been following me over on YouTube for a while, or maybe you’ve been on our email list for years, or maybe you saw me speak at an event. Regardless of how we’re connected. I’m so grateful for our community.
I’m also so grateful for our Academy members. Just so grateful for taking that leap of faith and for being with us as we go through this journey together.
I am also so grateful for where we live. I love the Bay area. I’m so grateful for our community, for our amazing neighborhood.
I’m so grateful for our health. You know, so many people that we know struggle with health issues and knock on wood, so grateful for that as well.
If you’re going through anything in life right now, maybe you’re going through something with your health, maybe you’re going through something personally with your family, maybe you’re going through something professionally with where you work or your business. It’s stressful when you’re going through something tough. And just my advice would be to try to think about what it is you’re most grateful for. Having that attitude of gratitude, I think is so important, and tell people, reach out and tell somebody that you’re grateful for them and you’re in your life. I can tell you from experience that it means a lot. I would love to hear from you what are you most grateful for?
