Facebook Do’s and Don’ts for Real Estate Agents 2021

Curious what you should be doing on Facebook – or better yet – what you should not be doing? If you are a real estate agent or broker – this video is for you! Facebook seems to change constantly but the good news is you can achieve big results by following a few simple tips! 

Do – Be intentional. Stop the random acts of social media. Be intentional and thoughtful with what you post and interact with on Facebook. Don’t be a drive-by-liker! 

Do – Show up daily. Consistency counts. If you can’t show up daily, at least get yourself into a routine to show up consistently. Consistency builds trust! 

Do – Have a plan. Time block daily, weekly and monthly when you will be on social media and when you will create and/or schedule content.  

Don’t – Outsource. It’s tempting to hand off your social media to someone else – but don’t! Social media is social and real estate is a relationship business! 

Don’t – Automate. When I see automated content it’s like “the lights are on but nobody is home.” It’s time to stand out from the same generic automated content. Post original content! 

Don’t  – Spam. We love to buy but none of us wants to be sold. Don’t spam us with your listings but share your wins, celebrate your clients!
