Are you ready to save a little time when it comes to Facebook? We all know Facebook can be a huge time suck but it is also a great way to build your business and connect with clients. These three time-saving secrets can make a huge difference when it comes to using Facebook for real estate!
- Daily – I like to time block 10-15 minutes daily by doing a practice I call ‘focus five’. I will do this by intentionally commenting/interacting with at least 5 people on my Facebook feed each day.
- Weekly – I also time block weekly. Once a week I will take 30-60 minutes to post some content, schedule some content, and think a little bit ahead.
- Monthly – I highly recommend time blocking each month to batch create your content. If you’re going to sit down and record a video, record 4 or 5. Batching content and setting time in your calendar to actually make it happen can make a big difference.
Be intentional. Use lists.
On your personal Facebook profile you can create private lists. To do this, go to Facebook.com/bookmarks/lists on your desktop. Here, you can create multiple lists. At a minimum, I suggest you create a client list and a prospect list.
These lists are private, so your clients will not know they are being added. What these lists allow you to do, is now when you are doing your daily ‘focus five’ instead of staring at your noisy newsfeed, you can go directly to your client list and see their posts only. Remember, this is really powerful because relationships are built by small interactions over the course of time.
Repost and repurpose your content.
Here’s the really good news – you can post something more than once! There’s nothing wrong with reposting and repurposing your original content. Especially if it’s evergreen or timeless.
