Have you ever wondered how you can get people to watch the replay of your Facebook Live? These four tips for promoting your replay will help you get as much traction (or more) from your replay as you do from the live event.
Ask for replay comments. When you are doing a Facebook Live – be engaging and welcoming. “If you are watching live, leave us a comment below. If you are watching the replay, leave us a comment below too!”
Go back and answer comments. Go back and like each comment and reply individually to as many of those comments as possible. Every time you answer a comment – that person will receive a notification. Facebook prefers content that sparks a conversation – so the more you can engage in the comments – the more Facebook will populate your replay in the News feed!
Promote the replay! After your broadcast, a few days after we are live – we will re-share the Facebook Live link on Facebook. “If you missed us live, here is the replay! Here is what we covered _____ – click below to watch!” Promote this replay link to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and your email list.
Repurpose the replay content. You could take a Facebook Live and transcript it and turn it in to a blog post on your site or on your LinkedIn. You could take a Facebook Live and turn it into a podcast. We did this recently with this Facebook Live here – it was turned into a podcast a few weeks later here.
