Have you ever wondered exactly what to say on a Facebook Live? In this video I’m sharing 5 tips for what to say on your next Facebook Live.
Introduce yourself. Start right away! Who are you, what brokerage are you with and what are you going to talk about?
Welcome people. It’s like having a party at your home – welcome people to your Facebook Live as you would if they were coming to your home. Have a welcoming spirit! Ask people to comment below, say their name, ask them to post where they are tuning in from, etc. Use people’s names!
Bring value! Perhaps you are going to do a virtual open house, or you are sharing tips about buying/selling or resources for your local community. Think about what you are going to talk about. Have 3-5 ideas of what you are going to share. Are there additional resources or links you can share? Perhaps a book you recommend or a YouTube channel or podcast that enhances the conversation?
Ask questions! Ask simple questions like, “Do you agree? Give me a thumbs up!” The longer you are on live – the more people are more likely to tune in. Ask people what they think and if they have questions. Make it easy for people – ask quick yes or no questions.
Have a clear call to action. At the end – wrap it up and have a clear call to action like “let me know what you think, leave me a comment below” or direct them to your website, etc.
