How to Use Social Media to Grow Your Real Estate Business

Are you wondering how you can make the most out of social media if you’re in real estate? Here are three key things that make a big difference!

Tip 1: Be intentional

The agents and brokers who are getting the most out of social media have a plan and a strategy. Start with time blocking 10-15 minutes a day and increase from there. Part of social media is just that – social! You need to make time to show up, be authentic, connect with others and treat it like an important piece of your business. When done right, social media is one of the best ways to foster relationships in real estate and attract new clients.

Tip 2: Lean into who you are

It’s ok to have an opinion and a voice! Don’t just share information – share helpful information that has your opinion, your life experiences and your recommendations. This type of helpful but personal content is one way to showcase who you are and your expertise and it will help you connect with your community. This is the part you can’t outsource or hand off!

Tip 3: Don’t be a drive by liker

Take the time to meaningfully connect with people. Focus on connecting with at least 5 potential clients or current clients a day on social media. Don’t just like content – but take the time to like, comment and engage. Create conversations!
