Wondering how you can grow your following on Instagram? Here are a few tips:
- Be consistent in the 4 areas of Instagram: the Instagram feed, IG Stories, IG Live and IGTV. These are the “4 neighborhoods” on Instagram – a great term coined by Instagram expert Sue B. Zimmerman.
- Use hashtags. They should reflect the people you want to attract. Use up to 30 in posts in your feed and up to 10 for IG Stories
- Authentically engage with people daily: focus 5 – connect with at least five people a day on Instagram.
Bonus tip – promote your IG content outside of IG by picking one great post a week and including the link in your email newsletter to your database!
