Today I’m excited to share with you seven of my favorite tech and social media tools for real estate professionals!
Tool number one is Lumen5.com. Lumen5.com is a new tool I’ve been checking out recently. Kudos to my awesome video editor, he let me know about this tool, and we’ve been checking it out as a great way to repurpose our video content and our blog content. It helps you really create unique video content in a fresh and engaging way. So check that out. It’s one of our favorite new tools.
Tool number two is Adobe Spark. Adobe Spark is a really fun tool you can use on your mobile device. It’s an app, but it also has an online version if you’re just dipping your toe into the water when it comes to video creation. Maybe you’re creating community video or a listing video or you’re creating vlog content like this where you’re creating some really great, valuable information. Adobe Spark is definitely a great tool to check out.
Tool number three is Canva. You guys know I love my Canva. I’ve been talking about Canva for years and years, but specifically Canva for Business is awesome. Definitely worth the money we pay every single month because with Canva for Business, you can import your specific colors, your logos, your fonts. You could add team members, you can create templates. It’s really great when it comes to brand consistency, especially as you grow and maybe you bring on a virtual assistant or a marketing coordinator who helps with content creation. Canva is a great tool.
Tool number four is Stencil. GetStencil.com is a really fun tool that I started playing around with. A lot of my friends in the social media space have started using it and really highly recommended it. I’ve had a lot of folks reach out to me and say, “You’ve got to try this out!” So, I’ve been playing around with it, really fun tool. Really a fun alternative to Canva, great tool to create graphics that you can use for Instagram, Facebook or any of your other social media channels.
Tool number five is Zoom. I love using Zoom. If you have been looking for a platform where you can really connect different people in different geographic areas, Zoom is fantastic. Especially if you’re a real estate professional and perhaps dealing with folks who are relocating and you’ve got an agent on one hand and a lender over here, and you’ve got folks from different parts of the country. There’s nothing like that face to face video call. There’s lots of conferencing tools that you could use, but I love that face to face. For us, our team is virtual, and so we use Zoom as a great way to connect virtually. You can also use Zoom for Facebook Live as well as all kinds of other fun stuff. You can even use Zoom as a way to record your phone, you can use Zoom as a way to record something from your computer, do a quick screen share video. There’s lots of really great resources that you can do with Zoom and it’s one of the reasons it’s one of our favorite tech tools.
Tool number six is Agorapulse. Agorapulse is a fun social media management platform that we’ve been playing around with. It’s something that we haven’t mentioned here yet on the #GetSocialSmart Show, because it’s something I’ve been playing around with and haven’t really talked a whole lot about publicly, but it’s been a really fun tool to really see what our activity is on Twitter and Instagram and Facebook. It’s a great social media management tool that pulls all of your social media platforms together, and for us, it’s been a great way to really analyze the content and timing, what’s working, what’s not working. Agorapulse also has some free, fantastic tools, like a Twitter checklist that you can download, they’ve got a Facebook barometer tool that you can download for free on their site, so there’s some great free options on their site. Check it out. But if you’re looking for a great social media scheduler or social media management platform, I definitely would recommend checking out Agorapulse.
Okay, my last tool I want to mention here today, tool number seven, is Iconosquare. Iconosquare is a really great tool, especially for those of you who love to dig into the data, because Iconosquare will give you some really great data and insights, specifically on Facebook and especially Instagram. I know with Instagram, you’ve got Instagram insights, but Iconosquare really takes it to that next level and you can really dig into some really great demographic information, information on who’s following you, who’s not following you, who’s some of the most engaged folks within your Instagram account, and Facebook account, and it’ll really help you as you really take your social media strategy to the next level.
