Top Content Curation Tools and Resources

As a social media marketer, I am always, “feeding the beast.”

Meaning, feeding the social media beast with relevant content. Of course original content is great but at some point, you will need to curate content.

Great curated content that is relevant to your brand helps to build brand awareness and engagement to your social media platforms.

I always tell my clients – don’t underestimate the importance of a steady flow of content. If you are a brand – big or small wanting to jump-start their social media presence – one of the number one things you can do is infuse your channels with quality content on a consistent basis.

Here are four of of my favorite content curation tools:

  1. Feedly
  2. Tagboard
  3. RebelMouse
  4. Flipboard

Need a jump-start on how to curate content?

Watch this quick video here: “How to Curate Content” or check out this in-depth interview I did on the Agent Caffeine podcast: “On Curation, Leverage and Strategy” – both of these will give you a bit more context into the how and why behind having a content strategy.

Of course, visual content is more important on your social networks than ever before.

Here are three of my favorite sites for creating visual content:

  1. Canva
  2. Picktochart
  3. PicMonkey
