The question whether to connect with your clients on social media is not a black or white one, particularly in real estate. While people choose to work with you because of your experience and expertise, they will connect with you because of who you are – and connecting with your clients on a personal level is critical. This doesn’t mean you need to connect with everyone. Instead, do your research, find out if a particular client is active on a particular social-media platform, and when you feel it’s appropriate, send them a friend request.
