As a real estate professional, you may find yourself on camera for virtual tours, social media videos, or even live streams. While being on camera can be intimidating, it’s an important skill to have in today’s digital age.
Here are a few tips on how you can be more confident when you’re on camera:
- Practice: The more you do something, the more comfortable you’ll become with it. So make sure to practice being on camera as much as possible. This can be through mock interviews, recorded videos, or even just talking to the camera on your phone.
- Look at the camera: It can be tempting to look at yourself on the screen while you’re on camera, but this can make it difficult for your audience to connect with you. Instead, make sure to look directly at the camera as if you’re making eye contact with your audience.
- Talk about what you know: One of the best ways to be confident on camera is to talk about what you know. This can be about real estate, your local market, or even just your personal experiences. By speaking with authority and passion about a topic you’re knowledgeable in, you’ll naturally exude confidence.
Remember, the more you practice and the more comfortable you become on camera, the more confident you’ll be. So don’t be afraid to get out there and start filming!
